Erica Toda

With over 15 years of experience in property management, Erica Toda has established herself as one of South Florida’s leading professionals in the field. As Senior Property Manager for EastGroup Properties, she oversees a 1.1 million square ft² industrial portfolio spanning Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Lee Counties. Beginning her career in Class-A office and retail CRE, Erica transitioned into the industrial sector with a passion for operational excellence, sustainability, and community impact.

Throughout her career, Erica has demonstrated a deep commitment to environmental awareness, tenant engagement, and property performance. Along with EastGroup colleague, Isabella Blanco, she has pursued the certification of numerous buildings to ENERGY STAR accreditation, and in 2024, helped achieve the first BOMA BEST Sustainability Designation ever awarded in the United States. Under her leadership, her properties have earned three BOMA 360 Performance Program designations and multiple TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Awards, including five local wins, three regional titles, and, most recently, the prestigious 2025 International TOBY Award.

Isabella Blanco

Isabella Blanco is a highly accomplished Industrial Property Manager with over eight years of experience managing commercial real estate throughout South Florida. Since joining EastGroup Properties in 2020, she has been responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a 1.2 million ft² industrial portfolio, ensuring top-tier service delivery, tenant satisfaction, and asset performance.

Isabella earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacín in Venezuela (2008) and became a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Florida in 2020. She obtained the Certified Manager of Commercial Properties (CMCP) designation in 2022, awarded by the Commercial Real Estate Certification Institute (CRECI)—a collaboration between BOMA International and BOMI Certification, Inc.

Yanei Pérez

Yanei Perez is a seasoned Property Manager at Baptist Health Enterprises, bringing over 25 years of experience in commercial property management, with a specialized focus on healthcare operations. Her portfolio includes Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Urgent Care Clinics, Diagnostic Imaging Centers, and Oncology/Infusion Centers. Yanei currently serves as President of BOMA Miami-Dade, where she plays a pivotal role in leading the organization’s signature events and strategic initiatives. She works closely with the Board of Directors to uphold BOMA Miami-Dade’s mission and vision, while championing innovation and collaboration across the commercial real estate industry.

Committed to environmental sustainability, tenant engagement, and operational excellence, Yanei has led efforts to certify numerous buildings under the ENERGY STAR® program and has earned three BOMA 360 Performance Program designations within her portfolio.

Her leadership has also resulted in an impressive collection of accolades, including five local TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Awards across the Medical and Office categories, two regional wins, and the prestigious 2025 International TOBY Award. Yanei is currently pursuing both her Real Property Administrator (RPA) and Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) designations through BOMA International, further advancing her professional development and industry impact. Jocelynn Serna

Jocelynn Serna is the Executive Director of BOMA Miami-Dade, proudly stepping into her third year leading the organization. Having grown up around BOMA, she developed a strong connection and a deep-rooted passion to the commercial real estate industry. Her professional journey first took her into the medical field, practicing pediatric occupational therapy for over 10 years, where she gained invaluable experience before finding her way back to her true passions—marketing, public relations, and community engagement.

Now, she's right where she’s meant to be—bringing fresh energy, strategic vision, and a deep sense of purpose while championing BOMA Miami-Dade’s mission and supporting the professionals who shape the commercial real estate industry.
